It
is 1917, and the Great War seems without end. The Doctor, Hex and Ace find
themselves in a military hospital in northern France. But the terrifying
brutality of life at the Front, only a few miles to the east, is perhaps the
least of their concerns.
For
once, the travellers are welcomed – expected, even. The Doctor has been
ordered to investigate a murder. A murder that has yet to be committed.
Who
will be the victim? Who will be the murderer? Is what happens next prophecy or
coincidence?
As
the Doctor, Ace and Hex investigate the patients and staff of Charnage Hospital,
they uncover a botched military assault that may have implications for the
outcome of the entire War. The Doctor realises that he must solve the mystery of
the Hate Room before the simmering anger within the hospital erupts into a
frenzy of violence.
And
the answers are in No Man’s Land.
